Alexander Wray, President of the Town Gown Association Ontario

Alexander "AJ" Wray, PhD is the President of the Town and Gown Association of Ontario, the defacto Canadian town-gown organization. He recently completed his doctorate from the Department of Geography & Environment at The University of Western Ontario. He also holds a Masters in Geography from Western, and an undergraduate in urban planning from the University of Waterloo. His research sits at the intersections of healthy communities, geographic information science, and local government policy. He is known in the town and gown space for his work on postsecondary student housing policy in Canada, as published in Housing Policy Debate and Perspectives in Public Health.
