Dr. Rennert

Assistant Professor, Biostatics Department of Public Health Services, Clemson University

Dr. Rennert received his PhD in biostatistics from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 2018. He is currently an Assistant Professor in Clemson’s Department of Public Health Sciences and has been leading the University's public health strategy and modeling during the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, Dr. Rennert has helped lead COVID-19 vaccine distribution and awareness campaigns across Clemson and South Carolina. His Covid-19 research has been published in the top scientific and medical journals internationally. Dr. Rennert’s research and service helped earn him the appointment of Provost’s fellow. In 2021, Dr. Rennert was named Clemson University’s researcher of the year.
