The ITGA listserv is an online forum designed for members to discuss, share information, and exchange ideas, thoughts, concerns, and feedback on topics aligned with the mission, vision, and values of ITGA. While ITGA encourages healthy and relevant discussion, debate, and information sharing, we ask that members respect the listserve's purpose. All members are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct.

ITGA Listserv Code of Conduct:

  1. Respect for Others: Members must respect the opinions of others. Posts containing inappropriate or offensive language, as determined by the Executive Director, will not be tolerated. ITGA reserves the right to delete or redact any content deemed unacceptable, including but not limited to:
    • Content used to abuse, harass, stalk, or threaten others.
    • Libelous, knowingly false, or misrepresentative content.
    • Content infringing upon a copyright or trademark.
    • Violations of confidentiality obligations.
    • Privacy violations, including posting others' emails without permission.
    • Use of derogatory, discriminatory, or inflammatory language.
    • Solicitation or marketing of individual or company businesses for commercial purposes, whether related to ITGA issues or not.
  2. Post Deletions or Redactions: If a post is deleted or redacted, ITGA will provide the poster with an explanation. If a member believes a post or comment contains unacceptable content, please notify the Executive Director at This email address is being protected from spambots.   3. Attachments: If you intend to include attachments, ensure you have permission to share the content. Attachments are limited to under 10KB. Alternatively, it is permissible to include a link to the content.
  4. Personal Opinions: All posts represent the views or opinions of the individual posting and do not reflect or are endorsed by ITGA unless explicitly stated.
  5. Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior: ITGA reserves the right to take appropriate action against any member who engages in unacceptable behavior on the listserve. This may include issuing a warning, a temporary ban, or permanent expulsion. Unacceptable posts will be removed or corrected immediately upon request or by ITGA staff, and subject to the sanctions outlined above.
