An art professor’s journey through Italy has inspired a unique creative challenge at Ohio Northern University. In the Visual Literacy classroom, students are dreaming up their own 21st century “utopia,” using five historic Italian towns as a launchpad for their own visions.

As a member of the ITGA, you are part of a growing network of campus and community members from across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. ITGA is the only professional association that brings together town and gown leaders to address topics of mutual interest, share promising practices and address the most pressing issues facing campus communities today.

Communications Committee

Chaired by Joan Dickinson, Assistant Vice President, Community Relations, Stony Brook University, and Alison McCullick, Director of Community Relations, University of Georgia.

The mission of the Communications Committee is to raise the profile and visibility of the organization. The committee will accomplish this by using timely messaging, membership engagement, and contributions to weekly member communications. In addition, the committee will advise on media requests, promote ITGA on diversified media platforms, and regularly update and market information about ITGA activities, meetings, outreaches, and news updates that further the collective learning of members on town-gown issues.
