An art professor’s journey through Italy has inspired a unique creative challenge at Ohio Northern University. In the Visual Literacy classroom, students are dreaming up their own 21st century “utopia,” using five historic Italian towns as a launchpad for their own visions.

I am very pleased to see that the print edition of the book is now available as an E-book, as it will allow for a much higher level of accessibility at a very reasonable cost. There are currently very few books aimed directly at local governments and how they might deal effectively with having a college or university in their communities. My approach has always been to identify the many positive ways in which university and community relations can be planned, maintained and enhanced and I have certainly appreciated the very positive feedback I have received from members of ITGA this past year. I hope to see you in Washington!
