The 2026 ITGA City & University Relations Conference will be hosted by the City of College Station and Texas A&M University. Conference activities begin May 19 with concurrent sessions on May 20-May 22. The conference will end after lunch Friday.

The program is a collaboration between Molson Coors and the International Town and Gown Association (ITGA).

Colleges and universities must hold a sports marketing contract with Molson Coors to be eligible for a Great Plays grant

To reduce the harmful consequences of alcohol consumption by college students. Grants support new or existing evidence-based programs aimed at preventing underage drinking, binge driving, alcohol-impaired driving, and alcohol-fueled sexual violence. 

Only one application per institution is permitted each calendar year, and the maximum yearly grant can be up to $15,000 per year.

Applications open July 1 and will be accepted through November 30 or until all yearly funding has been distributed.

Funds can be used for direct programming, educational initiatives, evaluation instruments, and up to 12% in indirect costs.

  • Refund requests sent by March 15 will receive a full refund minus a $75 processing fee.
  • Refund requests received between March 16 to April 30 will receive a refund equal to 50% of the registration fees.
  • Refund requests postmarked after May 1 will not be eligible for a refund.
