In February 2015 the Off Campus Student Services office restructured its approach and strategies to help better educate and retain this large population. This presentation will explore a brand new program idea called Apartment Bus Tours. We’ll discuss the need for the program, how its grown in (5) years and how it’s been modified. Each year a “welcome home” party is thrown specifically for faculty, staff, and students. A parade led by the mayor marches the group from campus to the Downtown district for free food, music, prizes, and fun. Join us to hear how we are impacting social lives, creating commerce, and building stronger partnerships.
